Is there another proxy race series scheduled for these cars? Or, are you just doing a general cleanup?

Excellent question, Sir. Steve said he may do a repeat proxy some day. I am doing an original re-build and the car may, or may not, conform to a future race ruleset. We shall see  :)  I might just rebuilt it to it's original glory and sell it for a very affordable price.

Yes, aiming for some time in 2020.

Similar rules as last time, with 2 changes.

I've started a new thread for Driftin' 50s, 2020.

Race body was still in good shape. Just needed some touch ups and fix for the chip off a meatball decal. Easy fix

Backup body wasn't even used so I just dusted off the cooties and gave the driver a new paint job.

Nothing to brag about

Drag donuts on Pro-Track hubs trimmed and trued to original race dimensions, fronts .275 X 1" +, rears .385 X 1"+, clearance meets original rules of .015 front/.050 rear with plenty to spare.

All original parts re-assembled with same TLC as when new, and she passes the drivetrain test fine

This is the car that finished third place overall in the original "Driftin' Fifties" UK proxy series against some of the best builders in the world. I have decided to auction it right here on Slotblog for a very reasonable price.

It will come with a spare body and some spare wheels as shown

Buyer pays postage, and I will pay for full value insurance.

Satisfaction guaranteed.

Send bids to me via Slotblog Private Message.

If I don't get any action here, I'll advertise it on Slotblog Swap Shop.

Either way, I pay Slotblog's cut of the action.

Any questions or requests for more photos, please post them right here.
