The turnout for Sano 13 is shaping up to be real good.

I'm not sure if we'll beat the Sano 2 record for entries, but we'll probably have the most states and provinces represented.

Along with my locals racers being quite a bit healthier, we also have new retirees who will have new found time to race.

Quite a few racers will be making their Sano debut, with the latest confirming, Brian Ambrose, from Florida.

So, as of today, we will have racers from;

I just got an email from Paul Pfeiffer and he confirmed he will be here for the whole event this year, and despite his motorcycle accident, the Gentile Giant, Jerry Galloway, will be joining him, along with another Fond du Lac area racer.

There is also talk of enough Colorado racers to fill a Main.

Anyway, I've already scoped out how I'm going to create more pit space, and will be enlisting my wife's Honda Element, later in the week, to purchase a bunch of folding tables.

How is the can am race ran? Is 1 race and done, move ups to the A or like the R4 top 16 race for the main?

6 sit-outs into the A Main, and all others, except the bottom one, with 2 move-ups.

 

Like a Retro East race.

Just to confirm -  The handout motors are 9rs (RRRRRRRRR),  Are other earlier motors legal to run like the 7R7R..;  7777...; or others in the non-handout classes?

All JK 7R, 8R, & 9R motors, long or short shaft, are legal, along with the long shaft, Professor Motor PMTRHR.
 
Remember, if your motor came with a long shaft, on the comm side, you can not shorten the shaft, on the comm side.
 
That obviously also applies to short shaft motors, on the comm side.


All the above motors are legal, including long shaft versions of a top 3.

The King will be unavailable until Wednesday, as I do some work on it, along with cleaning and repeating it.

For early arrivees, the Fiedler Flat will be available to practice on.

First thing I started on before lunch was increasing the apron exiting the finger.

It's not much of an issue with GTC and Can-Am cars, but a bit of one with F1s and Stockers.

And my Hardbody racers will really appreciate it.
