I don't know if it was ever set up there, but that Sovereign was in Odessa, TX for a few years. In the last days there, they had grafted the Sovereign's D-shaped donut to an American Black & painted it purple.

Ask Peter Lentros himself, or read this:

https://www.sfexamin...ts/?oid=2515393

It went to Tx, then to Modelville

Only 34 lanes?  I had 52 lanes including Pinewood derby, 6 lane HO, 4 lane Ninco, 4 eight lane tracks, dragstrip, and a couple of 4 lane portables.

Tracks getting repainted and wired up. Rebraiding where necessary. Still waiting for the CO from the town..... may have a nice HO track going in too.

Revtor,

Thanks very much for the update. This place looks AWESOME!

When does Josh anticipate opening?   What are the anticipated days and hours of operation ?

Just my 2 cent suggestion, but Josh may want to consider a 'soft opening' before he is completely finished to take advantage of strong winter revenue.

(As most of us know, typically raceways do not generate much participation/revenue in the Spring and Summer months)

I see a lot of tracks, but nothing in the way of pit space.  I hope he's taken that into consideration.

Maybe make that oval removable? As was done at the old Fast Tracks location.

Cheers

Easier to leave the oval there and cover it with a plywood top

There's 2 pictures posted.

Not exactly a panorama view of the facility.

It's supposed to be 9,000 sq. ft.

I wouldn't worry about it.

Not worried at all Mike. It's not a place I would frequent anyway as it's too far in a direction I don't like going (towards NYC  LOL)
