I finally found a Testors kit that went awol in my stash.

It's a 1/25 model kit to build the #82, and would build into a nice display.

They are the original bodies painted  !  Francesco Forleo is one of the most important italian car modelers and  one of the ECA Turin partners.

The Scalextric and the 2 Monogram cars:

For the red car I put inserts of halibrand wheels.

And about the helmet, I have picture evidence that Clark, this year at Indianapolis, had a Bell, not a Bucco.

That Scalextric Lotus 38 is likely the most valuable one on the collector market, if you can find one intact. Intact, complete, in its box it can bring over $1K. A few years ago on ebay I saw a listing with two badly busted up ones, such that you couldn't put together a 7 out of 10 one between them, go for $500.

Interestingly, Scalex didn't market it as a Lotus 38. They sold it as an Indianapolis Special, green with the red snake bundle. Colin Chapman licensed Lotus to a LOT of slot car manufacturers back in the 60's: Fleishman, Strombecker, Scalex, Cox, Classic, Revell, Monogram, Joeff, Tamiya, Atlas, Policar, VIP, everybody. But for THIS particular issue, Chapman and Scalex must've had a bit of a different point of view.
