I don't want to start anything and I should probably not say anything, but I got to.
I look at the cars like the first and third finishers and I have a problem calling them scratch built or retro. That's all I am going to say.

Eddie Fleming, I can't speak for Chance Overholt, the first place finisher, but I assure you the HI TECH chassis is 100% scratch built. I cut every center section out by hand. No EDM, No Laser, No CNC mill. I doubt any other chassis builder that builds plate cars can make that claim. Building them the way I do allows me the luxury of changing the length and design as I see fit for different tracks and applications.
