Hi
I buy my stuff in bulk as well....I hate reaching into the tube for the LAST one!
I use .032 brass for spears for my 25mm wargaming figs. Take the shaft, give the end a tap with a 4oz ballpeen and it flattens into a nice leaf shaped point that needs a little dressing.
Much more surviviable than the cast lead spears that most use.
Oh, you didn't ask about THAT?

It's Christmas in August. Friday afternoon and I just got my delivery of 10 lbs of Unibraze low fuming bronze welding rod. No swirls in the finish and a random sampling shows them to be very straight. Also received 4 Stay-Brite soldering kits in today's mail so Endbelldrive"s Bridge and Iron Works is back in business.
Thanks for the heads up on the brazing rod, gents.
