Miguel, thanks for the encouragement. It maybe a little too much for my painting skills. I may just do the stripe down the middle?
Paint is on the way, a few days out, so I have time and choices to ponder.

Body is mounted, I am happy with the wheels and wheel arches. I will work on a partial interior. More than a Cheetahracha, which is just a peice of card.
But less that a standard interior. The limiting factor is the inline motor in the IFC chassis.

Excellent Martin!
I really like the mods you'd made.
Hi MattD,
Thank you for taking the time to post those Cheetah pictures I had requested!

Thanks Ernie.
Its interesting how I notice details when I look at a pic.
It needs a radius at the the back of front wheel arch.
This radius is not on there on Cheetahracha because Cox just cut the bottom of the body off. But it needs to be there on this version IMO.

A little side project.
As I need interiors I decided to save this one. All the ears where broken off ( I think during removal from body) and the driver was really stuck, and I wanted to save it too. So I cut it out. Half the vertical rear post was missing as well.
Stupid amount of time later, I am ready to prime.

I like the way you joined the tabs, smart for extra strength.

Thanks Dave, you know I love the save.
While working on the interiors I noticed there are 2 versions (molds)of the spare tire.
Take a look, the one on the left has out line lettering the other split letters, and that's molded that way.

Judging from your beautiful detail painting you have found paint brushes that do not shake like mine do.

Thanks Rick, your too modest, I do like painting the driver and interior details, I always have.
I have learned some tricks over the years as I am sure you have. But some days are steadier than others.
BTW the white letters never see a brush.
I give the tire a good coat of spray white. Then a light mist of black.Just enough to cover.
Once its all dry, I gently use a fine needle file across the letters to expose the white.
I am not sure if that's how other folk do it, but that's my cheat.
But then I have days when I cannot put a decal on. A roundel on the side of a lotus 40. forget it.

Thanks Guys for the encouragement.
The stock interior if good for the stock Cox Cheetah but I wanted to try and fit more than just a torso on a flat ish base.
To this end I will use a repo interior from the static kit, then cut it away to clear the motor, then see what space is left for the driver.
I settled on the Lotus driver as his right arm will rest on top of the motor and, because it is split down the middle it should be easy to fit in the space left, one half at a time.
Motor box is built.

The driver is seated comfortably, but the BIG Cox head had to go. Just no room in that tiny cockpit.
Next issue is the steering wheel. His hands are real close the dash. Options are to put a bend in his arms and or to slide the whole seat base back a little in the car.
I do like re bending the arms to give them a more natural look, nobody drives with arms straight out like that.
Problem is they would have to rotate down at the shoulder first then bend back up at the elbow to keep the hands at the same height.

You could just shorten the arms a little. They look long to me anyway. Take a little out of a bone hear and there and a little cosmetic surgery and he will be all set.

Not too hard to section arms like this. A little cya and finger nail file to cut down the forearms. Looking good. I mailed your stuff today

Thanks Matt,
I am going in with the knife (scalpel please ) so I can put a bend in the arm and shorten them at the same time.
I was going to start with a driver on the left in white. But its the only one I have ever seen. Can anybody show me which Cox car it came with.
Everything I can find has a full right leg. This driver has a full LEFT leg. Which Cox car does it belong too? Anybody Please.

Martin,
I'm thinking that the white driver is a 2D driver with its right foot glued on the left leg.
