They're shockingly easier than they look.
I don't think Howie's been off in them more than twice in about an 1-1/2 hours of track time.
BTW, he got down to 5.31 on white before Sano moved him to purple. While some locals may have hot-lapped faster on white, the fastest recent race lap on white is something like 5.32.

Those esses are no problem, even for me. It's a fantastic track, you'll love it.

If you wanna miss the historic Sano II after reading about Sano I, you basically ain't a real slot racer.
I know I am still mad about missing the Arco at Williamsburg Raceway in Atlanta in what, 1969 or 1970? My parents wouldn't let me go with someone else, as I was too young then to drive.

A good possibility now that I'm getting a little better with a camera and a computer. Will any "framed art" be available at the event Mike???
I've also told Jackie that she'll be on the premises the whole weekend.
Shontel Howard has also been nice enough to offer to help posting results. That should free up a Greg a bit for when it's his turn to race.

I assumed you would be. Thanks for posting.
I've also had a chance to talk to some of the F2000 guys this morning, and three more confirmed, including a couple of our Final 8 from last year, Paul Pfeiffer and Jim Mayer.
We're up to 37.

I want to encourage everyone who has an interest in Retro racing to attend this event, even if only for a few hours on one day.
If this is the kind of slot car racing you enjoy, one of the best ways to assure that the 1/24 hobby/industry moves in the direction of supporting this form of racing is to attend Da Sano II and make it one of the largest slot racing events in recent memory. If this can occur, it will send a powerful message to the raceway owners, the distributors, and the manufacturers that support 1/24 slot racing.
Besides, I kinda like seeing Mike Swiss stressing out... when he was racing Wings, he was the guy causing the all the stress for the other racers. 'Bout time he gets a taste of his own medicine...

My son Ben (used to race in Spokane, now lives in Chicagoland but has never raced there) plans to come for Fri/Sun. Please mark him down for an XL shirt.
In an earlier post we indicated that Jim Hansen is also coming from MT. Do you have him included in your count?

I will be there. Any chance that you will have two medium shirts available? If not, two larges will do.

It'll be good to see Mark, a favorite in the Midwest both for his ability and his sense of humor. He'll fit right in with the Sano good time atmosphere.
He makes 41.
