Steve,

I've got you listed now.

I talked to Andy a bit earlier in the day. I really appreciate you guys making the six-hour drive for our Retro race and shindig.

That makes 53.

One more of my racers, Ken Berry, is planning to attend. He may have had trouble posting. Please put his name on the list.

Had to troubleshoot a power supply problem, and have not finished it.

I will report when I get it running.

Hi. It's Guillermo Suar again. In a previous post I asked to be signed up for the JK class. I'm also planning to race the Can Am class. Please add me to that list too.

Thanks

Thanks for posting what races you intend to run in but I only need to know if you're coming(for pit spaces) and what size shirt you want.

Anyone with a legal car on that day will be allowed to run in whatever race they choose (except the super-experts in JK Spec).

Can all the FastLane people pit together 'cause I don't know if we can get along with anyone else? ;) Just kidding...

Another local racer has committed to at least the the JK Spec race.

That brings the total to an even (?) 55.

We have one more coming from FastLane Raceway.

Please add David Chamberlain to the list. He also needs an XXL shirt.

Yo' Noose,

You need to get a couple of these for Da Sano... with one one your left ear and one on the right and your 10,000 candle power headlight... you should be good to go... only $6.99 at Harbor Freight with a coupon...

Add another name to the list of Sano attendees.

It's almost certain that a young racer from the Atlanta area, Ralph Thorne, Jr., is going to join Jay and I for the ride to Chicago. Ralph's a terrific driver and may in fact be the youngest competitor at the Sano this year. He always gives Jay a run for his money when they both compete in our SERRA races.

I think that brings us to 58 racers.

In case there's anyone who hasn't figured it out for themselves, the Sano II is shaping up to be one of the largest slot races in many years. I can't wait...

I guess you haven't heard yet, but Mike limited the entries to 57 due to pit space restrictions. So send Ralph and you stay home. :D :laugh2: ;)

Ralph ran one of my F1 cars in Cleveland, TN. and did a hell of good job with it, especially considering it didn't have the right gear ratio.

Not to burst anyone's bubble, but probably not everyone that has "signed up" is going to make it. Last year, I think 42 signed up but only 25 showed up to race. I say "only" despite the fact that it was the biggest field I'd competed against to date.

I'd guesstimate that we are looking at 40 to actually show up to race right now.

Yeah, Mr. Pessimist, we know all that.

After the publicity illustrating just how much fun everyone had had at last year's Sano, I'm betting the no-show rate will be somewhat less.
