Got the bare chassis in a slot car box from a guy who raced at Parma throughout '71 and '72. Used one of the Mura C-can's I had built. The chassis had way to much plumber movement so I restricted that using some pan upstops. Chassis has fixed pans but does have a plumber.

I had a Lancer Porsche Coupe that was painted in the 70's that I was itching to use. Worked great for this build so I got it trimmed and pinned.

Still need to get it wired and to get an interior painted by Noose but that will occur quickly. Overall, it looks really good so far and I love the air control.

The Lancer Porsche coupe was "THE" East coast wing car body in the early 70s. When Lancer closed, they were pulled by MAC. O/S can pull them today. I would say your chassis was from the late 60s or early 70s. It has plumber on the rails, in front of the front axle & the pan style is an old one. Your car looks great & should handle well. Period correct rear tires would have been orange. Your fronts appear to be REH clones of the RVMs.

I agree with everything you have said Bill. The wide RVM clones looked really cool so I used them.

Thanks Pablo.
