They were given out for hours purchased of track time, which was written in your little logbook.

1, 2, 3, I can assume were race awards for first, second, and third

But who got the crown?

Anybody out there still have their original logbook?

Here is a pic of the logbook. Mine went missing over the years, but for a short while it was cool to get the guy behind the counter to sign in the logged hours.

Do you think pins would take off today? Or maybe patches for events?  Sooner or later everyone's box gets full of sticker or plaques. Same goes for the closet of trophies. At least with patches we could have several shirts or coats.  Patches may be more cost effective than trophies.  A coat could be worn out in public and may get someone asking about the patches? Just asking....

Slot car patches have been sold on eBay in the past, maybe they still are. Is that you Brian sitting in the wheelchair?

Finally got round to taking a pic of all the pins all in a row that I know of.  Other than the Members pin, which I do not have.

Please me know if there are more than the 25, 50, 100, 250, and 500.
