Most of the approved coupe bodies have a rear spoiler with a notch in the middle. When we add a spoiler to the body we just go straight across the top. No problem.

Is it legal to cut out the center of the spoiler in the notch below the molded in body spoiler?

You can remove material from the bend down to allow air flow in that area. I can post a pic later today.

Sorry, but I am being dense here. Maybe it is an age thing. I see that a notch above the bend line is illegal, but a notch below the bend line is legal? I also assume that a spoiler 0.400 is legal and that might accomplish the same thing as a notch? My brain hurts.

1/2 inch in the maximum height of the spoiler above the bend. It can be any lesser height.
