As Howie was exiting the 'window' turn, Felix Mueller deslotted in front of him and Howie's car launched straight into the track monitor, knocking off its shaky stand.

I guess I'm getting senile. My recollection is that move-ups only happened in F1 at the Fall Brawl.

Another awesome four days. My thanks to Mick, Mike, Tom, and Don, who moved the mountain for us again this year.
And Sue! Where would we have been without your wonderful cuisine?!
So happy to be at SpeedZone again this year, to see everybody, to thrash and suffer. It's a weird hobby we have.
On the ride home, I was reflecting with Woody about the history of the sport. Obvious perhaps, but the thought is this: if you were to time-travel back to a bigtime Arco, Car Model, early USRA event, say, 50 years ago? What we saw, at the upper reaches of The Brawl? It's that same level, those same guys, who innovate, who work the details extremely hard, and can drive like Spartacus himself. For me, it's an honor to witness this.
