GRRR 2025 Race Schedule - as of Nov 3, 2025

 

Jan. 26 - Sunday at P1 - GT Coupe, Stockcar, Can-Am

 

Feb. 23 - Sunday at Fast Eddie's - Stockcar, F1, Can-Am (Retro Rumble warm-up as well as a monthly GRRR race)

 

Mar. 28-30 Fri./Sat./Sun. - Retro Rumble at Fast Eddie's - Stockcar / GT Coupe & F1 / Can-Am

 

Apr. 27 - Sunday at P1 - GT Coupe, Stockcar, Can-Am

 

May 18 **Memorial Day Break**

 

Jun. 28-29 Sat. / Sun. at the Viper Pit - GRRR, So.Georgia RR, SERRA combo race.  IRRA: Stockcar & F1 / GT Coupe & Can-Am

 

July  **Summer Break** No Race!

 

Aug. 24 - Sunday at Fast Eddie's - Stockcar, GT Coupe, Can-Am

 

Sept. 28- Sunday at P1 - GT Coupe, Stockcar, Can-Am

 

Oct. 26 - Sunday at Slot Car Raceway and Hobby Shop, Vero Beach - Stockcar, GT Coupe, Can-Am

 

TBD -   Sunday at Deland - 4th annual Petite Sebring 4 Hour Enduro

 

Nov. - Dec. - No monthly GRRR Races due to holidays

I will be contacting the Vero Beach track to see if we can work out a race date.

 

If we can get enough racers (12-14) pre-signed up we may be able to include a Daytona date as well.

To all GRRR racers, please note the following change to the schedule now updated in post #1.  

 

The race previously scheduled for May 18th at P1 Raceway has been moved to April 27th, still at P1 Raceway.

 

This change was made to give racers more time for family and friends around the Memorial Day time frame.

I've got to contact Vero to see if we can work out a one-day Sunday race.

The location for the Sept. 28th race has not yet been determined.  P1, Daytona, and Vero are all possibles.

 

The 4th annual Petite Sebring race will be held in Deland on Sunday Nov. 2, 2025.

Jay where is the September 28th race going to be held?

It's only been TBD since January 1st when you posted the schedule.

I understand that I upset you. But there's more people racing GRRR than just me. The others would like to know where the race is going to be held, so they can plan their life's out as well.

Gee, September in Vero would be nice. I am pretty sure the owners would like the race. Also would be nice if there was a race on the east coast of Florida. Just saying.

My vote is to have the September 28th race in Daytona (but need a minimum of 12 pre-signed up) and then Vero Beach on October 26th.  However I will not be able to attend the October 26th race due to other commitments and therefore someone else will have to commit to getting racers signed-up, performing tech, collecting the per-entry fees, and putting the race results and pictures up on Slotblog.

At the upcoming GRRR race at Fast Eddies I'll be talking to the racers to see who can commit to coming to the Daytona race and this will help me to finalize the schedule for the next two months.  If you can't make it to the Fast Eddies race please contact me here or in some other way to let me know your preferences.

I heard the Daytona Track has no idea a Race is being scheduled there Sept 28th????????

Is there a backup plan?

Update:

I spoke with Greg Walker (Daytona track owner) and we will NOT be able to race on any Sunday so having a race in Daytona is off the table.

I will speak with Joe Milstead in Vero Beach and see if there is something we can work out for the Sept. or Oct. race.

In addition I will see what the condition of the track at P1 raceway is and check on the possibility of having a race there.
