They mainly did Indy bodies with this chassis (very approximate looking bodies!), but maybe a jalopy too. They started out with jalopies, but with a totally different chassis and AC motors.

There is a name on the brass clip that holds the motor in; I'm reading it as "Marklin", which is German. What does it appear to be to you, Mark?
It's weird being the same age as Old People.

Marklin still makes wiring & lighting products that are used by train hobbyists for their track layouts. Some of their multi-stranded wire serves as good leadwire for FK powered slot cars. It is/was distributed in the US by a company in the Carolinas.
