I said tonight I would bring the Rick Jig up to speed. They are back in stock and probably the last time they will be available. Post-Covid has changed the world. Sadly, prices have soared, for everyone and everything!
This pic shows most of the hardware that come with the jig. I am hoping to hold the price from the last price, but I haven't received the invoice for the machining yet. This chassis was the result of talking with all the 'greats' about what was needed for a great jig, Stuebe, Tony P., etc. And the new masters of building.
The pins are spaced with 1/8" between them and staggered, with K&S bushings you can make adjustments in 1/32" increments. The 1/16" holes make stops for chassis width, also staggered.
That flathead screws allow for any height you would need to set axle height, they don't do the math for you but you can dial in any chassis height with a caliper. Suggested by Jay Guard, a great engineer in his own right.
Also pictured is the hardware kit that comes along with your jig. Precut K&S bushings to adapt for 3/32" axles. Most of the pieces are stainless steel or brass to be corrosion resistant, but not all.
