I was sitting on the front steps when an elderly woman passed by. I waved "hello", and she stopped to talk for a while. She said she was recently devorsed. Her ex was spending a lot of time out and about, and she feared he had an affair going on. I wondered how she knew what he was up to. What kind of woman could know what her husband was doing every minute of the day. She said, "A widow." If I were her ex, I'd be watching my back.
