Is the Lotus 30 the old Hawk kit? if it is, is the version with the windscreen?

Hello Jim,......this Lotus 30 is  Strombeckers' 1/32 version.

Strombecker wished theirs looked that good.
Did you polish them, if so with what?

Paint (Tamiya TS) and clearcoat (MRHobby),................this one was done with MRHobby "gloss",....I have since been using MRHobby "semi gloss",....it looks much more realistic. I will be re spraying the Lotus with "semi gloss" in the near future.

Hi Jim, Strombecker produced several nice USRRC (pre 1966) and CanAm (1966 on)  bodies,........most on some rather hideous chassis, but , with a chassis change and a bit of body work, they can be made to look/run very well !!

Cheers
