I built a car around this well-used body.  Eric dates the body around 1973-74.  He thinks it was originally sold as an Associated, and was labeled as a Porsche.  I do not remember what this body is.  Does anyone know?  The original air control is glued on the body.  The body sides were repaired.  Even Lexan bodies start to crack when very old.  There are many small cracks in this body.

The chassis and motor parts are from the Oakland Speedway collection.  We are not sure who the chassis builder is.  We cannot make out the chassis signature.  I straightened and cleaned the chassis.  The C-can motor uses long Mura magnets.  I tried out two open armatures in this motor.  They both died on the motor analyzer.  The motor now has an NCC20 armature.  The car handles nicely and is easy to drive.  The Group 20 motor supplies plenty of power and runs fairly cool.
