Upstate is going to start racing Wing Cars, running a HAWK 12 motor every 4th Saturday of the month. As for Chassis, gears, etc, I am content to see who will be gathering and then work on a concensus for how we might want to regulate the class. We are local, not national so I feel some cooperate group think is appropriate. At this point, older chassis will be allowed and gearing will be the choice of the driver, as will be tires. So.... we can say it is an open Wing Car class with the exception of the motor. It's a start. First race will be this month, October 25th at 11 AM. We have AWRA coming in on September 27th so we will kick this off in October with an appropriately themed sticker for the racers of course. There is a group associated with the Facebook page if you are interested and would like to join that.
