This coming Saturday, September 13th, Upstate will race Retro on our King Track.  Considering naming this Palmetto Retro. Racers typically come in from GA and the Columbia area to participate in this growing class.  We will continue to race the 2nd Saturday of every month.  

Doors open at 10 AM and we will be racing at 11 AM.

Am I correct in assuming that you are using IRRA rules for your retro racing program?

Also, I like the "Palmetto" name.  You could expand that a bit to Palmetto Region Retro Racing = PRRR, rolls of the tongue nicely.

Yes sir we will be using the IRRA rules.  And the PRRR might be the way to go.  Sounds something like GRRR.  I mean... coincidence??

We have added a new oval track, trioval actually but just barely.... and we will add Stock Car to our monthly retro racing.  So as of November 2025, we are racing Can Am and Stock Car at upstate on the second Saturday of the month.
