What is a "Legacy VW"?
A Legacy WOMP is a type of chassis. Essetially, it has a 3" width, O ring frnt tires, spec gearing (9T pinion, 30T crown, a JK Hawk 25 motor, all on a conventional vintage style chassis. The bodies for the Legacy cars are chosen by the raceway and the AWRA. In this case, the VW bodies are the choice. If you have questions, feel free to call me at 839 356 0078. Steve Adkins for AWRA.
