Here we go again, the 4th annual
Petite Sebring Four-Hour Enduro
(BATTLE OF THE RACEWAYS)
This Year's Theme "Forza Ferrari"
Sunday TBD, 2025, at Orange Crush Raceway, DeLand, FL
The race will be held on Sunday, Nov. 2, 2025 at my home raceway in DeLand, FL. Please text, call, or PM me for the address.
Doors will open at 8am and the race will start no later than 11am and should last about five hours.
We will have a two or three man team from each of the Gator Region "Retro" Raceways (Vero Beach, Daytona, Winter Garden, Pinellas Park) and it should be a lot of fun!!!

Entry fee per team is $90 and that includes:
Two CR102 hand-out motors (teams can buy one extra for $15)
Two pair of Mid-America #MID 34WS tires.
One JK Penske Ferrari 512M (.010" thk) body.
One Slot it SP16c lighting kit.
Lunch to include 5-Layer-Dip'n Chips, sandwiches, chips, dessert, and drinks.
Note: The bodies and lighting kits will be handed out to team captains at the September GRRR race at P1 raceway.
The multiple hand-outs are in order to lessen the thrash time and to maximize the practice driving time for the guys that have never run on this track, which is an easy-to-learn 88' four-lane track very similar to a reverse "Orange" track (see pics above).
Note: This year there will be a a spec 10 tooth pinion and a spec 27 or 28 tooth crown gear (all racer provided).
The new gear specs are designed to slightly reduce the top speed of the cars and with the repairs to the track to reduce/eliminate the small bumps in the straight it should all but end the issues in the bank on the black lane.
There will be a mandatory power-on motor change at the halfway point so that should equalize motors to some extent.
One cool race feature, just as at the Sebring 12 Hour race, will be that the last quarter (1 hour in this case) of the race will be with the raceway completely blacked-out and using only the lights of the cars to run with.
There will be a mandatory light function inspection during the short power-off light-to-dark transition period before the one hour night racing session begins. You will need to start the night racing period with at least two working headlights and two working taillights.
Note: During the night racing period you will need to maintain at least one working headlight and one taillight.
There is a good bit of pit space but each team will have only two good sized pit spaces. In addition I have everything any race team could possibly need (including an awesome body mounting jig) and my main pit space will be set up as a kind of 'hot pit' for all teams to use on a as-needed basis.
Note: Braid depth varies a bit but generally it is right around .025" deep and is in excellent condition.
There is now a nice "perpetual" winners trophy that the winning team and team members names will be added to.

As you can see from the list of drivers signed up this is going to be a very competitive race but I think just plain fun at the same time, hey, isn't that what slot car racing should be about?
The entry fee also includes an awesome seven-layer dip 'n chips appetizer, lunch, dessert, and all types of beverages.
There will also be an after-the-race "bench racing" session with drinks (adult and otherwise) and snacks provided.
