After a shootout with some scumbag a few years ago, the press asked him why they shot the guy 30 plus times. His reply was we ran out of ammo.

We briefly had a similar, but not quite the same, no nonsense sheriff in LA County. He did not get along with the "enlightened" County Board of Supervisors and when he came up for election the LACBOS and some big bucks contributors ran a nasty campaign against him. He lost and the new sheriff is a political shill for the power that be.
I like Sheriff Judd because he uses shame to disgrace the criminal element before they're tried....
