On Saturday, 11/22/25, a small portion of The Doghouse gang gathered for another run around our familiar track. This time, we chose to run our JK Indy Chassis with a sports car/coupe body. This is the same combo we ran a couple months earlier.
It was a small group comprising the proprietor, Richard Sylvester, and racers Dan Parker, Dr. Marty Cwiakala, Dr. Bob Feller, and yours truly. The group was considerably smaller than normal, as other racers in the group had other commitments. It happens. But we had enough to fill four lanes with one driver sitting out each heat to marshal the turn.
As stated in the past, we love this chassis. JK makes a great Indy chassis. It runs fast and handles very well. We ran two races, as opposed to our usual three and using only the two greatest lap totals, with each driver running three minutes in each lane.
On this day, Dan proved that you CAN actually run the fastest lap and win the race. Sorry, Cheater. Dan was just too fast to catch on this day:
Congrats to Dan. His car performed well, and he ran two good races.
As for yours truly, it might be time to perform a motor change. I was experiencing a two-speed issue with mine. Even when it hit top gear, I was still being passed. Time to give this motor a proper burial.
We haven't discussed a December race yet. The December Holidays makes it hard for some of the guys to pull away from family and race, but we'll see.
Until then, Good racing, and to all a Good Night.
