I started this one about 15 years ago before there was a slot kit.
I spent hours on the body, panel lines etc. to make it look presentable.
Out of the box the body looks like it was carved out of mashed potatoes.
Paint is Tamiya semi-gloss black with foil accents.
Interior is styrene and retains the top of the dash.
Kato is a combination of a Cox body and a head cut off an old gas station toy figure that had the correct hat.
Chassis is a Dynamic Dyna-Flex all around with a Russkit "23" motor.
A pan was made and the body mounts to the chassis in an A/FX fashion fitting between scrap sprue mounts.
Front wheels are Strombecker, rears are generic.
