I used to use pantyhose material soaked in epoxy or Duco's Plastic Welder. On Lexan bodies I used a coating of Shoe Goo placed in critical areas.

Esp on oval tracks, i use JB weld to reinforce the nose and back end. A little heavy, but i don't have to let up due to a crash. Snap-tite bodies tend to be a bit more resilient than reg plastic.

Plus they are one piece bodies so the hood, bumpers, etc. aren't glued on.

Great idea! I use Hardbodies like the video. I just use glue in fragile areas and it seems to do the job very well. Added weight can cause handling issues.

On Lexan bodies we'd take one body and cut out the section we wanted to reinforce the other and the use Lexan glue to bond them together. This worked very well.

When we changed to .040 Lexan bodies, no extra reinforcement was needed and both the bodies and grp 10 chassis held up much better, albeit a slightly different driving style/chassis set up was needed due to the increased weight and lack of body flexing.
