It is with great sadness that fellow Italian slot racers announce the death of Pino Capone on April 25, following a long illness.
Pino was very well known in Italian and European slot racing circles, thanks to his generosity, kindness, and passion for our hobby. He was especially fond of the Cox La Cucuracha and for many years he organized the annual Cuca Day at the Slot Up club in Roncole Verdi, in the Emilia-Romagne region of Italy. Cuca Day was a major success, thanks to his organizational skills, fairness, and kind-heartedness. With an ever-present smile, he was always ready to help and encourage everyone. He was also a driving force behind the Dynamic Revival events in Bologna.
His fellow enthusiasts in Italy and especially his friends and fellow members of the Bologna slot racing club will try to carry on his work.
Rest in peace, Pino.
