First up we’ll be running GT Coupes on the King in a non-points event.
For this race only, Concours positions will be judged on best “non-professionally painted” livery (Gesner F-Bombs, Bodies by Weaver, and any other body you didn’t paint yourself will be ineligible - Note: you can race a pro-paint but won't be in the concours running). We’re throwing the rules out for this one and will allow any “period-correct” GT Coupe body (pre-1970 prototype) to compete, with Gift Certificates awarded to the podium: $25.00 for 1st, $15 for 2nd, and $10 for 3rd.
In addition, all race participants will be included in a random drawing for a $50 Gift Certificate. You don’t have to win the race to win the prize!
The Awards Banquet will begin after the completion of the Coupe A-Main. Timing will depend on the number of participants. We expect to start the post-race festivities between 12:00 and 1:00 PM for those who want to come to the banquet but not race.
In addition to crowning our season champions at the Awards Banquet, each racer who competed in 10 or 9 points races this season will receive a gift certificate for $125. Racers competing in 8 or 7 points races will receive a $100 gift certificate. Participation in 6 or 5 points races yields a $75 gift certificate and if you ran in 4 points races the certificate will be for $50.
Note: All Gift Certificates are good for merchandise at any of the three participating NERR Raceways and are only valid until 12/31/26.
