Coming back to slotz from a long time ago. Raced in Central Florida when there was a track in every village. Found Slot Blog and have spent evening hours catching up to what going on. I have built most of my race cars back in the day. I just can't help myself it must be some addiction to Wintergreen, oops no one uses that anymore. After seeing what Alchemists was doing with the G10 phenolic I just had to try one. I haven't built an inline since the middle 60's so I had to try it. Took it to the track yesterday at Fast track in Rocklin, CA. I was surprised how well it ran, it needed to have a little tuning after, but it did go well. The motor bracket is something I machined, it has a ledge so it can be secured to the chassis, it's sort of a flexi layout. Obviously there is no racing class, but I built it for fun, to try something different. There are a couple goof ups but there is a new chassis coming off the mill table this afternoon that will look a lot better.
OK here goes
