Been there. Just stopped by to see the place when I was in Minnesota for a cousin's memorial service.
That is a lot of track.

I was there in the late 90's for a Midwest USRA race.
The guys in the G7 Main with hanging external resistor controllers with the wires
soldered directly to the resistor, found out the hard way you really needed those screw on
ring clamps or your wires would melt off driving the esse's in the middle bands.
It was a cool place, probably bigger back then because they also had a non-running Hasse King Track.
I think somewhere along the line they walked off the huge space they had in the basement of the real
nice hobby shop.
Another interesting thing was in a sort of side room where some people pitted, there was a clear box
with some sort of measuring device inside.
I asked if it was a gas or electric meter and the reply I got was it was installed there by the government
to detect/measure possible earthquakes.
