Palouse Slots had another great Retro race this Saturday June 27th 13 racers on the roster. We had some first time racers Luke and Isaac Chang Ken Bryan's grandsons from out of town visiting and wanted to experience slot car racing. Tom Sunday, Frank Sperle and Larry Flyn were able to make their first showing since last year. The energy was high during practice which crossed over into the racing for some great heats.
Before the main racing started we had Ken and his grandsons Luke and Isaac race stock car class together. Luke and Isaac had never raced slot cars before even though grandpa is a well season slot car veteran. They did outstanding putting a little heat on a proud grandpa. Thank you to all the other racers who marshalled and cheered Luke and Isaac on their first race.
