Joel Montague set a new 4.11" King track lap record in Tampa, FL, in December 1970.

Tom Hansen built these two chassis, still with their original patina. Tom told me that he used to rebuild the same chassis over and over, changing details.
The late "Noose" painted the Champion Ferrari body, while the other is an old one that came with the second car. Motors are Pooch built by Joel Montague and all other parts are period originals. 
These two cars will join the extensive pro-racing cars at the LASCM. 
The patches and decal were kind donations to the LASCM.

These are fantastic.  What is the B&W photo from?  Are the wheels Associated?  Everybody was doing stepped machine wheels at the time.
