I spoke with one of their racers earlier today and he said that there may be a light at the end of the tunnel... and it's not a train. Nothing definite.
For now... the word is that they're open and "probably" will be until at least the end of the year.
It's a great place to race. Don't miss the opportunity!

It has been confirmed that the Viper Pit is being closed. The Daytona track has been sold to Lanes Raceway in KY and it is believed the other tracks have been spoken for as well.

This is what I received yesterday:
The latest on the Viper Pit
I spoke to Aaron Scott yesterday.
Although the Daytona track has been sold, the other three tracks will remain.
David Gladwin has taken over Aaron’s slot car business and will continue to operate the Viper Pit in its current location.
Aaron told me that he had “just burned out” and no longer wanted to own that business.
He said now he would just be a customer.
