It’s funny that it seems near impossible to find this exact motor, with these fairly unique can cutouts, on the net.

I have a number of these cans in my junk pile so knew what it was.
You are correct that finding a pic was not easy, but it was made easier by searching on 'RJR C-can.'

Robert Root (RJR) hasn't made anything slot car-related for 15-20 years. His machines for winding motors went to New Jersey. That company (Viper) has since disappeared, too. There not being new products manufactured is probably responsible for few photos today.
