Hello,
I got in a hurry trying to take apart a JK 21 and managed to bend the thin steel crossbar at the back of the chassis. I don't see them offered on JK's catalog and I was wondering where I could buy steel rods that are the same diameter. I don't yet have a caliper to measure the diameter but they look to be in the .5 to 1 mm range.
As always, any help is greatly appreciated.

He means the bite bar/rod that keeps the two-piece chassis together.

Oh, the bite bar. Use .047" OD K & S piano wire. Or use .055" if you like less movement.
Usually they come stock with .047".

.047" piano wire. Ace Hardware will have it should you not have a local raceway or hobby shop.
