Just finished this car. I've always wanted to do a black version of this car.

A long time ago, I had a conversation with a car-repair friend of mine(he did restoration work also, mainly British). He told me that black paint shows up imperfections more easily than any other color. I wonder if that's why, when I see a flawless glossy black paint job, I can just get lost looking at the shine. The flowing lines of the P3/P4's make a wonderful canvas on which to lay a good paint job. Thanks, Chris.

I got some of this made by Racer they are so Pretty, did you get the kit from racer to paint it or did you paint the Deluxe version?
Racer also makes some great photo etched parts for this cars.

If you have a picture that is close, try googly lenZ. It's worth a shot and, I've had pretty good luck with it.

Just stumbled on this. The only difference between the 330P/4 and the 412P is the engine. Most of the pictures I have seen show the 412 with the full length Perspex rear window.
You can probably cobble up a rear window from Lexan and glue it on one of the 330P/4 bodies if you want that look.
Or are you thinking of this version Ferrari tried to use in the American Can-Am series?
This just had a bigger motor than the 350CA Ferrari originally brought to the Can-Am series. The 350CA debuted at Luguna Seca in 1967.
Again, same car with the roof chopped off. And a re-designed nose that was supposed to create more downforce up front. You can thank Luigi Chinetti for this one. Ferrari ended up building a complete new car for the Can-Am, the 612CA with a six litre V-12. The four litre motor had no chance against the eight litre Chevy V-8s in the McLarens and Lolas.
