Barry DeShong was 97 years old just a few days ago (corrected, thanks Noose!) ... a Nutley regular, a good racer and a great guy. This is on one of the shelves at the LASCM... it's got a beautiful Emott chassis under it. Another car needing a black Champion "535" motor, but I don't have one to finish it... :(

I recall Barry attending the monthly wing car races in Coventry, CT with us at C & C Raceway during the early & mid-70s. He was a nice guy then too.  :)
