Dave, sorry but I was simply replying to your own post:

they showed no interest to build A / W's and stick a falcon or any other "puppy" dog motor in it for the simple reason they could build a modern slot and go a lot faster

to which I responded:

The purpose of Division 3 Retro Pro class is not to go fast. For that, you have plenty of USRA classes. The Retro Pro class wants to be just like the Retro Can-Am and Retro F1, FUN. Speed has NOTHING to do with fun, close competition does.

So I am a bit at a loss to understand

May be you need to actually read the posts in your Blog the way they are written and not the way you want to interperet them

What in the word "faster" do I not understand? :?
