Cheater, it's nice to see you racing as well as reporting this time.

Is anybody taking pictures of all you ol' farts? Who cares.

Is anybody taking pictures of the cars? I'm working all weekend, so that will be the only thrills I get. :cray:

Come on, man!

Sorry for changing some of heat names. They changed them on me when I wasn't looking...

And before someone asks me what happened, since Noose and Jay were pitting me, I simply moved my controller to the new lane and stayed at the drivers panel. ETMR has these really nice aluminum controller holders and when I moved to the new lane, I must have snagged the polarity switch on my Ruddock DR40 and flipped it to wrong setting. When the next heat started, I was at full power and it took us a while to figure out the problem and to grab Jay's spare Third Eye.

Hey, Dan Ruddock, you can anticipate receiving my DR40 in the next few days for a switchectomy! LOL!

My only consolations are setting fast lap of the race (faster than I qualified) and 38 laps on red lane, two laps better than anyone else in my Consi. Hey, you look for positives wherever you can find them!

Durl,

Someone is taking car pictures and numerous other shots and candids, but they won't be posted for a day or two.

Sorry you're having to work the weekend...

Ron utilized an old wing car trick to help grab that TQ.

The dead strip for the lap counter is just before the track goes under the bridge to enter the donut. On his last qualifying lap, Ron never blipped and ended up walling the car in the donut, to enable crossing the dead strip under full power.

I see Ron forgot the other part of the wing racer's trick.

Have a friend "accidently" drop a jacket in the turn after the lap counter to catch the car. :)

Thanks for the heat-by-heat reporting, Greg.

And congratulations to Ron. What I want to know is, who fixed his car?

It's weird being the same age as Old People.
