As always, great report Noose. One interesting note about the weekend was that Saturday, 4 of Retro East track owners were not only at the race but sitting, talking, and laughing together. Doug Bauer(Port Jeff), Mike Isles(Speedzone), Jim Williams(Hudson Valley), and Kenny Piccola(Slots-A-Lot). Unity in Retro East with Track owners supporting other track owners races, talking shop, and discussing how to work together as a series to bring the best retro programs to each track. Not sure if Bill got a picture of that, but from a racers perspective its an awesome thing to witness, especially in this hobby.

A big Thank You to all that made Palooza 3 a great success!!!!! Three days of great racing without a hitch..Congrats to Matt Bruce on his awesome Can Am win and overall win becoming the new "Don". Thanks to Doug and his crew for a great place to race and to everyone who cleaned the track. My personal thanks to Edsel for the loaner motors that were fast!! I was really happy to win the Stock Car race since I figured that was my only real chance at a podium racing in this league. Thanks to Noose for all his effort as always!!! Looking forward to next years Palooza!!!

This was one hell of a wknd, the racing,the sportsmanship of fellow racers,the track and the people that operate it.... Dad and i couldnt have asked for anything else being at a slotcar race, except for better qualifying and finishing results of coarse. Retro East and retro racing in general is where its at. Thanks to Noose for this awesome report and your hard work for making a whole wknd of racing such a success.
