Does anyone have a pic of the Lancer 163 Ferrari P/4 can/am body, I am trying to understand the difference between these 3 bodies.
The 163 the 963 and the 5163? Trying to help a friend, any info would be appreciated.
I have my answer, the 163 is the 3'' wide scale version the 5163 is the same body only light wieght and the 963 is the low and wide version.
Martin.

Hi Martin,
The 163 is the scale version with thick butyrate plastic.........the 100 series bodies
The 5163 is the scale light weight version with thin plastic.......the 5000 series bodies
The 963 is the Super Competitiion series low and wide handling body. A completely different mold......the 900 series

Thanks Rick, I was helping a friend and making sure the 5163 was the same dimensionaly (or pulled from the same tooling) as the 163.
I believe they are just accounting for thinner material.
thanks again for the fast response and the pic of the beautiful build. ![]()
