Well, we could have had a few more Zombies show up, but the races, Nascar with 12 racers and REVERSE Can Am with 10 came off GREAT! Mill Conroy prevailed in Nascar but a great drive by Henry Trujillo had him 2nd, ahead of Bryan Warmack in 3rd. REVERSE Can Am saw Bryan Warmack doing the best job of staying out of trouble, in 1st, followed by John Cukras 2nd, and Sam Rackham in 3rd.
I'll get a race report together with a few pics shortly........

Yes, thanks to everyone for putting on a great event and to Jeff Bell for all the handout prizes and for loaning me a car for the stock car race.

supposed that they had a race and NEARLY no-one came ?
Once again, kudo's to Jeff Bell for once again taking the time and effort, as well as the financial payout to sponsor a race to benefit BPR, and all those who chose to come out and support their hobby...I only wish I could have made the trip from Tennessee to witness it.

Yes, thanks a lot Jeff Bell for all your efforts and all the prizes!! Also a big thanks to Jairus for the great poster and to Nesta for all your help! The people who missed this missed a very fun and unusual day and there is talk of doing it again........The King track backwards wasn't nearly the chaos expected and once everyone got the hang of it was a hoot!!

If you missed this race, unless like Jeff Bigelow, you were in another state....Jeff Bell , with the help of Nesta, Jairus and Gonzo, put on a really fun race, very casual , and with the Halloween sounds effects box in Jeff's pocket, made it a great time for all...
The Stock Cars on the King Track showed everyone that these things can be a great ,fun drive and they handle the dead man so well....
The King Track backwards saw a lot of carnage, and Nesta tested the tensile strength of brass to the limit, and some absolutely epic floor shots made the race exciting... Myself and Marc Franco blew out bearings, that is the reason for us not finishing, but everyone was having a great time,, Cukras and I manned the end of the front straight, and as John said, " I haven't marshaled that many cars in all the seven years of Retro Racing combined ![]()
Thank you so much JEFF BELL, your plaques, square globe, dog tags and rubber square Earth were much appreciated, and the poster is OUT OF THIS WORLD ![]()
Thank you to Gonzo and Debbie for race directing, thanks to everyone that came and supported the track and so much more relaxing than our usual monthly race, with Crazy sound effects from Jeff all day, and Nesta set the record with a 14 foot launch from the Donut towards the Drag Strip ! ![]()
As for me, a Big Thank You to Bryan for giving me one of his Nascars, She ran like a champ all day, and I could not have won without the help of my newly reconditioned John Anderson DR-40 Hand Control, what a great control John is putting out, and because of my Dennis Samson Clip Rite, it kept my hookup guaranteed, even when the confusing backwards Can Am had a few shaking their heads, especially when marshaling....If you do not have a Samson Clip Rite, I highly recommend it , it saves your controller from those occasional brain fades.....
Again, thanks to Bryan for his photos and reporting and his generosity always.....
Next year, I hope we have another, and I dedicate this to all the TRIGGER MONKEYS out there, come join in the fun ![]()

Deal me life's toughest cards, without chance for hope nor fame, just let me play this one last hand, and I'll win this whole damn game.
