Looks mostly fake to me. I think they found (or made) a version of the actual song without vocals and then played along with it and added their own vocals. They may have added a few selected instrumental parts that they actually played.
I'll gladly eat my words if they do a follow up video showing them doing a multi-track recording session where they're actually playing all of the parts.

Good job on the mashup. Wish I had a nickel for each time I had to play "Whole Lotta Love" I'd be sitting in one of those Beverly Hills rehabs, instead of this infirmary. WLL was second only to Stairway in requests. Thank God I didn't have any vocals in either of those. "Freebird" was the all time third. Surprising, because the :purists" didn't like me letting my somewhat Jacko Pastorius style bleeding over into heavy metal. Maybe I just always wanted to be out front.
