Mike, I think those are 1/32.
So... if in the right 'frame of mind' the X-minus-1 reminds me of a favorite CarToon.

I just got my Viper and my Stinger coupe bodies from Gene. I gotta tell you they look amazing! I am looking no farther for future body purchases! I am sorry I ever bought my previous Viper body from somewhere else now. The great thing about Gene's is it shows exactly where the body lines stop and needs to be trimmed at. 
Unlike others where you have to measure all around it to know where to do it. Copying it from a stock body, if you are lucky to have one???

Your request would be very time consuming, As far as widths figure 3”, but many Thingie bodies the sides are not parallel and may have curved sides requiring custom built chassis.
Somewhere on the blog I did post dimensions as a body guide.
