Rob, I expect to see any race cars you may build to be built to the same high quality!

I dunno, I think you should have striped on both sides of the braid, just for conventions sake. It looks unfinished.
Beautiful job on the track. Wanna come build me one?

I think I like the single stripe, especially on the smaller, tighter home track - but to each his own...

Hi there everyone! I have been doing the area cleanup, organizing the build debris and pitching out scrap. We have been running on the track and have experienced good lap times and traction using silicone Quick Slicks. Although the rubbber NSR tires and others seem to work we are running 99% silicone tires. Tires, chassis setup and weight tuning are key for any wood track. I have a few track records running a Toyota GTOne Revoslot car with quick slicks on the rear. Not really chassis tuned yet but it seems to stick great on the epoxy track surface, 5.531s on the white lane.
I have created a Youtube channel and have posted a few videos to get started. The channel is named Stingray Speedway and the link is:

Thanks to all who have commented and contributed. Special thanks! to Steve Ogilvie for his input and support. I feel good that I have contributed a track to the hobby that will live on for many years providing enjoyment to those who watch and drive on the track.
I will continue to post here, and on the Youtube channel when I have interesting content.
Will return, Rob

Neat videos Rob. I liked the Legend but have not actually run one.

They are a fun little car to race but require some work first.
The Super Tires brand silicone tires seem to have better performance on my wood track epoxy surface on some cars vs. Quick Slicks (silicone). Quick Slicks has a tire to fit the Legend stock rear wheels #PN150XF. I contacted Super Tires and encouraged them to look into producing a few new tires in sizes they did'nt have. They expressed interest and will develop a tire that replaces the PN150XF size. I also run the Sloting Plus SP101004 long deep wood EVO black guides as they come and extra weight on the wood track in the stock Legend chassis. This will be for our Legend Stock class use but we also are running a super modified class that the only thing factory Pioneer is the body.
