Tony P. SIGHTING  Tracked down Tony P. Master Frame Builder, Racer and Pres. at Trinity Products and Old Friend. Probably hand built more production chassis in the 60's and 70's then anyone :!: We got to sit down for 4 hours and catch up on the old Nutley racing days :) Tony says he is IN if I get this thing going  and maybe we can get Ernie Provetti of Trinity, racing again too :!: This is fun  I have some more tracking down up my sleeve will keep you posted 8)

Only way to generate intrest is to buld a freeking car and get it out on the track!
That is what Mike Steube did. He build quite a few and took them out and tested them for weeks before the first race was organized. Most of the cars in that race were build by Mike himself if I remember right....

Why does this quote remind me of a recent cowboy movie?

Still THRASHING lot of work ahead ;) I am going out to visit more tracks and getting a small fleet of top end cars together  Connected with Sandy Gross and Howie Ursaner both are stoked on the idea but Howie is not around this area. Sandy is around the N.Y. area with his business he sounds very interested. Tony P. and Ernie Provetti are in for the first race no date yet stand by 8) Tony and I will be testing some Cars , Motors & stuff this weekend  Bob Emott, Joe Neumeister and others Old Pros, X Racers have not got back to me yet 8) Trying to get some new people into building & racing also, now that summers over out East tracks are getting back into racing. You guys out West should be thankful for your Sano racing program, BP raceway and the dedicated creative inspired racers you have out there  I am making Chassis and Cars avalible soon for purchase for people who need something to get them started or who just can't scratchbuild and want to run with us to help promote Retro Can-Am racing. Anyone needing info on getting started scratchbuilding these babes feel free to contact me for help with questions :) Back to work ;)

At least, when future slot car racing historians will try to ID all these vintage can-Am chassis in another 30 years, this one will be a lot easier than some...
