After talking to Paul to clear this up here it is. NOW The rear axle HAS to be located with piano wire uprights and tube OR a 3 sided 1 piece motor bracket like Bryan uses. The front axle has to be located by wire uprights as well OR with folded up chassis parts that are part of the chassis ala: Warmack, JK and Ricks stuff. NOT plugged into slots and separate pieces.

To me that is a pillow block if it is made as separate part from the main chassis section ( I know they are tabbed on) and plugged into the plate. We don't want a Euro style chassis to flood Retro classes as there are many classes that these can run in and be perfect for.

We want them to look somewhat like wire and brass cars if they had (we had ) never started using other materials.

You know Mr. P has to have the final word. :) Bugster wants to as well.

The main point is there should be no confusion as to how D3 defines what their version of a "pillow block" is. Now that its settled, its time to move on. EDM has been clearly outlawed from the start, except for guide tongues.

Keith, I do plan to be there for Checkpoint, Lord willing. NASCAR, Coupe, CanAm

Bugster wants revenge on the NASCSAR circuit

What does any of this have to do with the Checkpoint Cup Roll Call ? Start a new thread on what is a legal chassis, or "Great Pillow Blocks I have met While Yawning " . Geez, and you guys that always complain about staying on topic.... Will Ball Bearings be allowed for Foster's racers ? :laugh2: :laugh2: :laugh2: ;)

Nesta, I haven't compiled a list yet. Mainly, we wanted to get a response from those who are coming from out of town.
Normally, I get responses from the racers when I see them at BP.
Most of the D3 racers do not post reguarly here on Slotblog. They like to remain incognito like Paul S. :o

Only the outspoken and politically incorrect seem to post alot here on Slotblog :laugh2:

Depends on whether or not you fit the description. You may not fit either (in your own mind) :D

Either way, my post doesn't matter since it's only in jest. Too many people take everything posted on Slotblog
