Sorry Roger but it really is Tex's! That color scheme is very popular for sure!

Wow is right.

Will I ever be able to punch pin holes in that lovely thing? I dunno...

Greg, it kills me to use the ones he paints for me. I now repair the old ones and use them or find an excuse not to mount the new ones because they are so nice.

Are you saying it's "Outasight"? :laugh2: Yup, it is. The McLaren is the True Scale version of it.

Is racing a pink slot car the same as wearing a pink shirt? :o :shok:

Oh wait, maybe it's peach, not pink.... :laugh2:

OK..last one before I head to the SANO. This was done for someone who used to race at Buzzy's and wanted a somewhat replica of Ernie's 81 Nats type car. He only wanted the front side air dams and not the full ones.

TS Kirby Ferrari is what the gentleman ordered. It wasn't quite the right one but looked that way to him.

Dang Joe, beautiful work as always. The middle car for Phillipe looks aces with the two color detail lines...but the last body (and paint of course) is deadly!

Sponsored by 'INTEL' instead of a liquor company this time is this TrueScale Kirby TI22 for the Keystone race.

Great work! I am the now old East Coast body painter more known as "Noose". As a member of Team Nutley, we had to make sure we had even better-looking cars than those created by Dave Bloom (a fantastic artist, I must say). The infamous John Gorski told me about the site and it's great to see some of the old and new stuff on here. I'm digging through the old slot box that I still have from when I got back into it again in the late '70s when Bob Emmott had BIR Raceway open in Union, NJ, along with Tony P and Ernie Provetti (now both with Trinity). I'll see what I uncover to put some pics up here. I've been doing some static models and will show some, too.

Holy cow, Joe...it's an anniversary of sorts coming up! It's been a productive and prolific 2 years of painting! :drinks:

Noose,

As usual a very nice and quite unique paint scheme.

Where do you come up with the paint concepts? Everything you seem to do is always unique. Do you dream with an airbrush in your hand?

Yep, sure is . . . . otherwise you'd be doing more of that "Zombie Racing" instead of retro racing! :yahoo:

Hi Joe!

Sir, it's not we hate the Ti22 we just don't want to see ALL Ti22's.
Plus none look better than yours so they had better do something different... :laugh2:

See ya!
