John, that looks like one I did around '77-78, right? Based on the body type and Team Trinity motors it says to me we were at B.I.R.

I think that we need to elevate the Noosester to a high place in the Slot Car Racing Hall of Fame... the modern Michelangelo of slot car body painting.
What do you guys think?


Yes i agree.He is the Michaelangelo of slot cars. We should hang him upside down under a chapel dome and make him paint that way.

Pancake House is really Kool!


You should hear the back story, Rick. I'd resisted mounting the ubiquitous Lotus 30 on a JDSC, both because everybody has 'em and because I just am not thrilled by the car. I complained to Joe, "All those lumps and holes - it looks like an apple fritter!" Soooo...

The Original Pancake House is about fifteen minutes' drive up Lincoln from BPR (just past East St. in Anaheim) and a favorite locus of my misspent middle-youth - once after a wedding gig I breakfasted there with a comely caterer and later brunched with my girlfriend... all (urp) noble, I assure.

They're famous for an apple pancake that looks like it used the whole bushel, and a puffed "German Pancake" that arrives at your table looking like a Zeppelin but quickly falls into itself and happily receives lemon and powdered sugar - ohh, man, I'm hungry.

I just received the bodies that Noose painted for me and they are the most gorgeous examples he's done so far. I might have to frame them and run rattle-can examples instead... :shok:
